Third event of a four-part virtual panel series organized to highlight the publication of CIGI’s newest book edited by HRREC member Oonagh E. FITZGERALD, Corporate Citizen : New Perspectives on the Globalized Rule of Law. This book explores the legal frameworks and standards of conduct for multinational corporations.

This session examines the impact of multinational corporations on the environment, including looking at this from Indigenous story-telling perspectives. Expert panelists discuss how corporations are responding to the growing societal call for climate action and green transition to a no carbon economy. They will consider how government and industry action in the coming months could strengthen environmental justice and shape a green, sustainable recovery from COVID-19.
