Doctoral Candidate, Olabisi Delebayo Akinkugbe receives the 2013-2014 Nicole Senécal Graduate Scholarship in International Law
The Nicole Senécal Graduate Scholarship in International Law was set up in 2006 by Nicole Senécal on the 40th anniversary of her graduation from the LL.L. program in the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. The scholarship is aimed LL.M. or PhD students who plan to conduct field research in a developing country, and international students who come from a developing country.

The Human Rights Research and Education Centre is pleased to announce Évelyne Jean-Bouchard as the recipient of the Nicole-Senécal Scholarship for Graduate Students in International Law. This scholarship is awarded to a graduate student specializing in international law who has an internship project in a developing country. Ms. Jean-Bouchard, PhD candidate in Law, is studying the protection of women’s rights in the context of failed states, and is currently conducting research in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
