HRREC will offer two new courses on Human Rights and Justice in Africa in 2015-2016.

The objective of the courses is to analyze the ways that human rights and conceptions of justice have been applied, interpreted and debated in the context of contemporary Africa. Students will learn about the relationships between the Western origins and 'universality' of human rights and retributive justice, cultural relativity arguments and the needs of transitional societies.

Register with course codes DCC 3112 (Fall session in English) and DCC 3512 (Winter session in French).
