2nd University of Ottawa Human Rights Film Festival

The Human Rights Research adn Education Centre, in partnership with the Canadian Film Institute present the second edition ot the University of Ottawa Human Rights Film Festival.

The 2nd University of Ottawa Human Rights Film Festival features six international documentaries and films highlighting compelling human rights issues around mental health and women’s rights. The program brings different realities to life through the experiences of individuals from six continents, affected by Williams Syndrome, depression, and trauma caused by war crimes, violence against women, political conflict and forced displacement. The screenings will be followed by opportunities for discussion. The Festival also includes a workshop on the use of film for human rights advocacy and screenings at local high schools.
