The Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 competition for the Jacques Gaudreau Memorial Prize.
This award is given every year to one or two undergraduate or graduate law student(s) who received the highest mark or wrote an outstanding paper in the area of international human rights law. The endowment fund was created in 1992 by friends, colleagues and family to honour the memory of Jacques Gaudreau (1947-1989), an officer of the Department of External Affairs. Each award has a value of $500. Nominations are made by faculty of Law professors and the decision will be announced in May.
