NOVEMBER 19-20, 2015 - Art Workshops - The Making of the Jigsaw Pieces

HRREC is pleased to invite you to two Art Workshops for THE UNIVERSAL GAME - One Flag to Connect Us All, an outreach art project from the Centre, conceived and produced by 233, Visiting Artist from the University of Seville. This project falls within the Centre’s Arts and Human Rights Program.

The activity is FREE and open to the public. Certificates will be offered to participants.
We hope to see you there!

The workshop consists on making the pieces to be used for the event Jigsaw Day. Let’s Play!. The pieces will result from decomposing the flags representing uOttawa students’ nationalities mixed with universal symbols such as:

  • Flame for Human Rights
  • Balance for Justice
  • Heart for Love
  • Dove for Peace
  • Light Bulb for Ideas & Creativity
  • Handshake for Unit & Cooperation
  • Tree for Mother Nature & Life
  • United Nations Flag for the World
