HRREC Members’ Expertise Showcased in Research Perspectives

The latest issue of Research Perspective on Indigenuity showcases HRREC members’ expertises.

HRREC members, Professors Larry Chartrand and Darren O'Toole with Professor Sébastien Grammond are featured in the article "Forgotten Claims" about the Métis Treaties Project, an initiative funded by a five-year grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, also involving other researchers from the universities of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

HRREC member Karine Vanthuyne is also featured in the article "Exploring Contradictions Deep Down" where she compares the relationship that Indigenous peoples in Canada and Guatemala have with mining.
