This is an opportunity for students, alumni and any other person interested in Human Rights to hear about notable practitioners who will share their professional experience with them. Participants will have the chance to ask them questions on their career path and to do networking!

Speaker:

  • Béatrice VAUGRANTE | Executive Director, Amnistie Internationale Canada Francophone

Béatrice Vaugrante is Executive Director of Amnistie Internationale since 2006. Under her leadership, the section has been committed to the defence of indigenous peoples' rights, in the promotion of economic and social rights and to increase public engagement in human rights. She has participated to various missons, including one in Lebanon on the refugee crisis. Béatrice is a member of the global management team, which assists the Secretariat-General of the Movement. She was awarded the Prix Hommage 40e anniversaire by the Commission des droits de la personne et de la jeunesse du Québec in 2015. She holds a MBA from HEC Paris.
